The development of our Gannan navel orange can be traced back to the 1960s.
In the 1970s, we introduced the Washington navel orange variety, and in the 1980s, we began to introduce new navel orange varieties, such as Newhall, on a large scale in the southern region of Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, and set up a number of export bases, and now Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China, has become the world's No. 1 navel orange planting area and the world's No. 3 area in terms of annual production.
